ChArtist Components¶
Chartist creates components in several parts of Blender, here follows a general description of these components.
Outliner¶
Collections and meshes.

Some presets have custom collections and objects that are added/removed when applying presets.

Visible in the viewport are the following components.

Modifiers¶
Object Modifiers.
In the screenshot below, all chart components that have modifiers attached. For this example 3 datapoints have been loaded. Each datapoint has individual inputs populated from the data mapping step.

Some presets have objects with custom modifiers that are added/removed when applying presets.
Materials¶
Default Chart Materials.
Important
Default materials are loaded into Blender Data. Parameters are accessed via the ChArtist Panel in the 3D Viewport.
To access the material in the Shader Editor, it must first be assigned to any scene object. This can be done with the Button: Edit Chart Materials in the Chart Setup/Materials and Shading/Materials panel.

NLA Tracks¶
Animation Presets will create NLA Tracks in the NLA Editor.
