Chart Setup: Text and Fonts

Main controls for text labels.

Text and Fonts panels.

Text Components

Menu: Text

Select a main label component.

List: (Multi)

Each text component features more or less the same sub controls (Format; TRS; Align; Mod).

The main text components are:

• Datapoint: Controls for Datapoint Value and Name labels.

• Area: Controls for Area Title and Subtitle labels.

• Axis: Controls for Axis Title and value labels.

• Legend: Controls for Legend Title, Values, and Info labels.

Menu: Format

Font and formatting for the selected component.

Format Menu.

Menu: TRS

Translation, rotation, and scale for the selected component.

Transform Menu.

Menu: Align

Alignment options only available for Datapoint and Area labels.

Area Label Alignment Menu.

Menu: Mod

Modifiers, such as extrude and character transforms for the selected component.

Modifier Menu.

Font Components

Button: Get Fonts

Opens the file browser with font files filtered.

Open a font that Blender supports. Get fonts will add the selected font to blenders data. Assign it using the component’s font control below.

Font: (Multi)

Assign fonts to different label components. Only fonts that are already in Blenders data will display.

Usage Examples

Change the font of a Label

1. Navigate to Chart Setup/Fonts.

2. If the font is not already in Blenders data, click Button: Get Fonts.

3. Browse to the font location, by default the file browser should open in the system fonts folder.

4. Select a font and click Get Font.

5. Apply the font to the desired component using the Font: (Multi) dropdown.
