Toggle: Enable Datapoint Lines

Show/Hide the Datapoint Lines component.

Menu: Shape

Controls that modifies the Lines component shape.

The Lines component is a curve, the Shape menu controls the curve profile.

List: Align Type

• Next Index: Connects Datapoint Objects via sort order.

• Nearest Point: Connects Datapoint Objects via translation distance.

Usage Examples

Connect Datapoints with Lines (Plexus Effect)

In this example, Datapoint Objects will be connected with Datapoint Lines using a nearest neighbour calculation.

1. Apply the preset:

   Full/00_Default/02_Examples/Datapoint Lines
   

2. Navigate to Chart Setup/Datapoint Lines.

3. Enable Toggle: Enable Datapoint Lines.

4. Select List: Align Type.

5. Select Switch: Nearest Point.

6. Modify/Keyframe the parameters in the Panel: Presets Quick Settings box to create an animated effect.
